• Day visitors and visitors camping overnight pay the entrance fees irrespective of the time of arrival and they must register at the Waterkloof Resort Office. The office hours are between 07h00 AM and 17h00 PM. Registering before or after this time slot must be made with the Resort Manager on the telephone numbers as depicted in the contact us page.
  • Facilities in this resort are for use by registered guests only. Visitors are required to register at the office before entering the resort. There can be no more than 6 people (maximum of 4 adults) registered to a site at any given time. All visitors must leave the Resort by 17h00 PM, unless registered as an overnight guest. Please register for overnight stay by 17h00 PM at the office. Registered campers are responsible for ensuring their visitors have properly registered in the office, and that all campground rules are obeyed.
  • Areas marked with “NO ENTRY” signage is prohibited to the TENANT or any of his co-occupants or guests. Any barrier, wall or fence (with or without signage) should also not be entered or crossed and must be regarded as a restricted area.
  • The Main gate will be locked between 18H00 and 06H00 for the safety of all residents of Waterkloof. Gates will only be opened for emergencies during the Lockdown period. The Resort Manager as depicted on the contact us page will arrange for the gates to be opened during emergencies. The resort safety is jeopardized if the area is accessible to unauthorized persons.
  • Use of any Swimming Pool, playground or any facilities offered by Waterkloof Resort is done so at the TENANT’S own risk. The TENANT hereby acknowledges that he accepts and understands that if any loss or damage or injury is suffered by him or his co- occupants or guests as a result of the use of any of the said facilities, he will have no claim whatsoever against Waterkloof Resort.
  • WARNING! There are no lifeguard on duty and absolute NO DIVING! There is no swimming after sunset. All swimming is at your own risk. No children under 12 years old are allowed in the pool or dam without adult supervision.
  • Although Waterkloof Resort has no wild animals the TENANT is also warned that the area may have snakes, spiders, scorpions or insects. Waterkloof Resort accepts no liability for any injury or damage that the TENANT or any of his co-occupants or guests may suffer as a result of contact with these animals. The TENANT should take the necessary precautionary steps and not disturb or agitate any animal, reptile or insect.
  • The TENANT must at all time keep his camping site / tent in a clean and tidy manner. Any damages done to the property of Waterkloof Resort will be for the Tenant’s account and Waterkloof Resort reserves the right to withhold any deposit paid by the TENANT in order to recover damages alternatively immediately claim any further amount(s) from the TENANT in order to be sufficient to cover damages.
  • All rubbish must be placed in the allocated rubbish bins. No littering is allowed especially not in the dam. The swimming pools should also not be used for bathing or the washing of clothing or other items.
  • Ablution blocks are to be kept in a neat and tidy condition and are to be used as such. No unauthorized use of any ablution block will be allowed. Any TENANT who damages any of the facilities or installations in the ablution blocks will be held liable for such damages. The use of ablution blocks are also at the Tenant’s own risk and Waterkloof Resort will not be held liable for any damages suffered by the TENANT, his co-occupants or guests resulting or relating to such use.
  • The TENANT residing at the Dam will only be allowed to make an open fire in his area of responsibility and the fire must be contained by all means. The fire must be made close to the shore-line where the grass is short and precautions must be taken to prevent all fires from spreading.
  • The TENANT is urged to maintain a neighborly noise-level at all times. No loud music will be allowed. Generators will not be allowed in the areas where electricity is available to TENANTS. Any other behavior that may cause a disturbance to any other TENANT or guest or employee or agent of the Waterkloof Resort will not be tolerated, this includes violent behavior towards other TENANTS or the Tenant’s own co-occupants and/or guests or any other tenant or guest or employee or agent of the Waterkloof Resorts.
  • Waterkloof Resorts reserves the right to evict any TENANT and/or his co-occupants or guests if any of the above mentioned rules or any other rules that may be conveyed to the TENANT orally or by notice is broken or not adhered to.
  • Notice boards with the applicable rules for the areas where posted must be adhered to and cognizance must be taken of the responsibility of the parents/peers supervising children and or co-occupants.
  • Speeding in and OUT of the resort is not allowed and Tenants must adhere to road rules. Children and the Elderly have right of way and reckless drivers will not be allowed to remain in the Resort if they commit any dangerous acts.
  • Tenants currently has permission to bring a small dog to the resort provided that the dog is within arm’s length from the owner and do not enter the Ablution facilities. Only one dog is allowed and Tenants must ensure that their dogs do not become a nuisance to the other Tenants at the resort. Rabbit’s and birds roam freely on the resort and dogs will be caged up if they become a nuisance.
  • Each and every Rule mentioned above, will apply to the TENANT his or her spouse, guests, children and co-occupants
  • Waterkloof Resort is a private resort and reserves the right to, at any date or time, refuse any person access and admission to the Waterkloof Resort and in such instance neither the Waterkloof Resort nor its employees, agents or representatives will be obliged to give any reasons for such refusal.
  • Catch and release principles are practiced in this resort and strict adherence will be enforced. Holding nets will not be allowed due to the enormous amounts of Fish that used to float on the dam on a Monday morning after a successful weekend of fishing with fish being kept in Keep nets.
